The N. Sane Trilogy isn't a remaster in the traditional sense, but a complete rebuild of all three games in the series. This isn't HD paint to hide Crash's rough edges.
Crash Bandicoot™ N. Sane Trilogy. V-Sync off, full screen, 48 fps in menu, but Steam/Nvidia overlay also had 48 fps showing. Forcing VSync off from Nvidia control panel did the trick for me. Just put it in fullscreen mode and turn vsync off. Ignore the fps cap setting, use the steam overlay to see your fps.
